Lead Pharmacy Strategy Liaison

Job Description

Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist and  business partners, the Pharmacy Strategy Liaison (PSL) performs pharmacy-related functions following the policies and procedures set forth by our partners. The PSL is responsible for maintaining pharmacy records, providing exceptional customer service, inventory control audits, handing pharmaceuticals, and compliance audits. Follow the polices and procedures of our business partner and AHS to report any pharmacy errors and help our Total Quality Improvement Program develop ways to decrease errors. This work requires effective interpersonal skills to interact with our business partner, vendors, and patients. The PSL will be in charge of establish strategic alliances with business within their coverage area and maintain a relationship with business partners and vendors.

The Lead PSL will be in charge of the PSL team and coordinating the schedules, vendor contracts and continued relation with our business partners. This position will require travel to different work sites and train PSL in strategy solutions and workflow optimization. 

Job requirements:

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

Certifed Pharmacy Technician must posess a Pharmacy Technician Registration as required by the Massachusetts Board of Registration as well as a National Pharmacy Training Certification or be enrolled in an accredited school or college of pharmacy  and be licensed as a Pharmacy intern by the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy.

Experience:

• 3+ years experience required as a certified pharmacy technician or intern (required)
• Strategy consulting in a health care setting (preferred)
• Bachelor in Business or Information Technology (preferred)

• Advance skills in Microsoft Systems, Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Access
• Data Entry, Filling, Inventory Management, Customer Relations
