Strategy Operations Pharmacist

Job Description

Under the direct supervision of a Manager, Health Care Solutions and  business partners, the Strategy Operations Pharmacist (SOP) performs pharmacy-related functions following the policies and procedures set forth by our partners. The SOP is responsible for oversee the PSL team and maintaining pharmacy records, providing exceptional customer service, inventory control audits, handing pharmaceuticals, and compliance audits. Follow the polices and procedures of our business partner and AHS to report any pharmacy errors and help our Total Quality Improvement Program develop ways to decrease errors. This work requires effective interpersonal skills to interact with our business partner, vendors, and patients. The SOP will be in charge overseeing the strategic alliances with business within their coverage area and maintain a relationship with business partners and vendors.

The Strategy and Operations Pharmacist (SOP) will give direct oversight to the PSL team. Daily performance dashboards will be sent from each PSL after every shift and the SOP will follow up with our business partners discussing strategy 

Job requirements:

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

Must be have an active Pharmacist license from the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy.

Experience:

• 1 to 3 years experience required as a pharmacist in retail or hospital (required)
• Strategy consulting in a health care setting (preferred)
• Bachelor in Business or Information Technology (preferred)
